Minister's son to be charged with drug abuse, says MuhyiddinYassin
The son of a federal minister who was arrested and tested positive for drug abuse will be charged in court soon, Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said.
He said police have submitted the investigation paper on the case to the Attorney-General's Chambers . "Instructions have been received that will be charged in court soon," Muhyiddin told Shamsul Anuar Nasarah in a parliamentary written reply dated April 4.Shamsul wanted the government to state clearly the standard operating procedure for someone who tested positive for drug abuse and the time needed to obtain the pathology report.Muhyiddin said the police have their SOP and specific administration orders when obtaining the urine sample of a person suspected of taking illegal drugs.
