Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul could look very different to what fans are expecting if the fight is professionally sanctioned.
Tyson's last professional fight took place almost two decades ago as he quit on his stool against journeyman Kevin McBridge, whilst all of Paul's last 10 fights have been professional bouts. If their fight is professionally sanctioned, both men could be wearing 10-ounce gloves instead of the rumoured 16-ounce gloves they would wear in an exhibition bout.
Tyson hinted some of the fight rules could be similar to a professional bout when he told Fox News : "This is called an exhibition, but if you look up exhibition, you won't see any of the laws we're fighting under. This is a fight." The 57-year-old admitted to being out of shape for his last fight, an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr, but insists he is taking his bout against Paul seriously.
