Another Indianapolis-based HGTV show could be coming soon.
A new project is in the pipeline for Indianapolis comedian Mike Epps: a show on HGTV.
Epps' wife, TV producer Kyra Epps, announced in an Instagram post that their show, called"Buying Back the Block" would be coming in spring 2023. The location is tagged as Indianapolis — Epps' hometown, implying the show will film here. "We’ve been fixing houses the last two summers," she wrote in a caption."Now excited to say this time around [it's] going to be on @hgtv wow wow wow!"House flipping isn't a new venture for Epps. In 2020, he posted about restoring a home on his block — presumably in the Fall Creek neighborhood, based on the hashtags.
"A lot of people claim a Hood a city or a block but don’t own it," he wrote in the captions."This is my block in Indiana the before and after with family and friends in the homes."
