The long-awaited 3DS and PlayStation Vita ports of Mighty No. 9, a Kickstarter-funded revival of the Mega Man series, have been officially canceled by Amazon after over a decade. The ports were never developed despite being promised as stretch goals during the 2013 Kickstarter campaign.
Mighty No. 9 , a project by Keiji Inafune aimed at reviving the classic Mega Man series, faced numerous setbacks and ultimately failed to deliver on its promises. Despite raising millions through a Kickstarter campaign in 2013, the game was plagued by delays and received negative reviews upon release in 2016. Port versions for the 3DS and PlayStation Vita, initially promised as stretch goals, were never developed or released.
