The stock is 11.7% off its record closing high of $359.49, set on July 18. Shares finished at their lowest close since May 24, when they closed at $313.85, according to DJMD. As recently as July, DiFucci said that risks to his model included Azure growth being more durable than he anticipate for the rest of year, Windows revenue outperforming industry analyst expectations, and mid-teens growth for the next couple of years.
Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.13%, of which Microsoft is a component, also swung to a gain Monday and finished up 0.1%.
