Micron says it's committing up to $100 billion over the next two decades to build a computer chip factory in upstate New York.

The new chip factory complex, which will be built about 15 miles north of Syracuse, will look to "increase domestic supply of leading-edge memory," the company said.The company, which plans to invest $500 million in New York's workforce and community development, said the new factory would create at least 50,000 jobs.
