Mickey Rourke has resumed his ongoing, one-sided public feud with Robert De Niro.
Rourke, 67, posted the incendiary words along with a classic movie photo of De Niro smoking a cigarette. The two starred together in the 1987 neo-noir drama"Angel Heart."
Rourke alleged in the post that he had learned from a"friend" that De Niro had called him a"liar" in a newspaper interview. The alleged interview was not cited."Listen Mr.Tough Guy in the movies," the former boxer and"The Wrestler" star Rourke continued. "When i see you i swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs, i gonna embarrass you severely 100%.
Rourke further alleged in that 2019 interview that De Niro blocked him from getting a role in director Martin Scorsese's"The Irishman." on behalf of the film’s producers and casting director debunked Rourke’s accusation that he was passed up for an"Irishman" role.
