A responding deputy at the scene detained Edward-Ricks and determined that she was the mother of four children — ages 2, 4, 8 and 15 — in the house. The 8-year-old and 15-year-old did not appear to have any injuries. The 15-year-old called 911 for help when Edward-Ricks allegedly began attacking her youngest children.
