An 84-year-old man was pinned under a bulldozer and seriously hurt Friday.
Deputies were called to the Mattawan Airpark in Antwerp Township at 4:20 p.m. for a report that a man was stuck under a bulldozer, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff's Office. It turned out the call came from the man who needed help.
Deputies found the 84-year-old near a workshop in the woods with his left arm stuck under the bulldozer's track. The man told deputies he had been working on the equipment by himself when it began moving and pinned him under it. He was able to grab his phone with his other arm and call for help, according to the sheriff's office.
