Former solicitor Michael Lynn has been jailed for stealing millions of euro from various financial institutions.

Judge Martin Nolan noted that his account of having prior agreements with the banks in relation to the loans was not believed by the jury. He said the amount stolen was “serious” and he told Lynn he had brought his former profession into disrepute. before jailing him for 5.5 years.
