Outlaw Johnny Black comes from the same team that created the cult classic Black Dynamite and is in the same vein of humor. The movie is distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films. Frustrated, one of the men goes to the prison cell but finds it empty with the door wide open. Johnny Black steps out from his hiding place around the corner. He toys with the man, repeatedly slapping him and stealing his gun before walking him back to the other men still playing cards.
Michael Jai White wears many hats in Outlaw Johnny Black as a writer, director, and star. The movie also stars Anika Noni Rose, Erica Ash, Byron Minns, Kym Whitley, and Tony Baker. White is also a producer of Outlaw Johnny Black, along with Donovan De Boer and Grant Gilmore. Outlaw Johnny Black is rated PG-13 with a runtime of 130 minutes.
