BANGKOK: The Mekong River, which has been bloated with floodwaters from upstream provinces, burst its banks on Sunday (Sept 15) morning, flooding the Muang district of Nong Khai province.

Speaking to journalists at the sidelines of the MIC 78th annual general assembly, Sivarraajh said MIC was where he truly belonged.

"I took a break for one-and-a-half years and after the open invitation from Tan Sri , I met him," said Sivarraajh who is currently a senator. "But my soul and mind is still with MIC. I started in 2004 and served the community with most of my support coming from the Indians. I still believe that MIC is the voice for Indians," he added.
