Government deploys 15,000 troops in and around Acapulco to distribute aid, restore order and prevent looting
MEXICO CITY—At least 43 people were killed and another 36 are reported missing after Hurricane Otis rammed into Mexico’s Pacific coast, bringing devastation to the popular beach resort of Acapulco, officials said.. Security Minister Rosa Icela Rodríguez said Saturday that the likely cause of death was drowning.
