Pete Alonso hit the 40-homer milestone again with his third-inning blast against the Mariners on Sunday.
The two-run shot got Alonso to the 40-home run mark for the third time of his career and he became just the fifth player in MLB history to have three 40-home run seasons in the first five seasons of his career.Alonso hit 53 home runs as a rookie in 2019 and had 40 a year ago.
