MetMalaysia issues thunderstorm warning for several states in peninsula, Sabah, Sarawak

SHAH ALAM: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning in several states in the peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak on Wednesday evening (Nov 9).

In a statement, MetMalaysia said thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds were expected in Kedah as well as in Perak.

It was also expected to occur in Pahang ; Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negri Sembilan, Melaka as well as Johor .Also affected are the interior as well as the west coast in Sabah. MetMalaysia issued the weather alert at 4.45pm and was expected to be in effect until 9pm on Wednesday. –
