Mercedes-Benz One-Eleven concept is a modern C111, electrified.
Revealed today as part of Mercedes' "Design No.5" creative event, the One-Eleven is a modern interpretation of those 12 experimental C111 vehicles, with a radically modernized approach. The wedge shape and gullwing doors are still mainstays of the design, and the color harkens back to the bright orange shade of the original cars. But that's where the similarities end.
Where the front end of the C111 sports a honeycomb grille, the One-Eleven uses a sea of pixels for the headlights and to show off other messages to display to drivers on the road. The rear end has a similar panel for the taillights, which can be customized to the user's liking. There's also a dual-ridge diffuser and blue lighting along the rear wheels, visible from the inside.
