RAWANG: A mentally disabled man died following an early morning fire at a house at Taman Desa Country Homes here.
According to Selangor Fire and Rescue Department deputy director Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail the incident occurred at 6.28am on Saturday .
"They arrived at 6.36am and found that a fire had occurred on the ground floor of the two-storey terrace house, but was put out by members of the public before Fire and Rescue Department personnel arrived at the scene," he said when contacted on Saturday. "Initial checks revealed that an elderly man was living in the house with his mentally disabled brother.
