KUALA LUMPUR: There are no plans to impose fines or penalties on individuals who board women-only MRT coaches, says transport minister Loke Siew Fook.
“Sometimes, members of the public would also reprimand male messengers if they are seen entering the coaches.” “We also need to strike a balance. If we add women-only coaches, it will reduce the number of coaches for male passengers. This will create problems,” he said.
