Fr Joseph menerangkan dokumen Sri Paus Fransiskus tentang Laudato Si kepada penduduk kampung. Gambar: Today’s CatholicFr Joseph Ding, Ketua Komisi Keadilan Ciptaan Keuskupan Miri telah mengadakan Bengkel Keadilan Penciptaan Laudato Si’ di sebuah perkampungan rumah panjang, Long Jegan di paroki Lapok, pada penghujung bulan lalu.Perjalanan ke kampung terpencil Long Jegan mengambil masa tiga jam perjalanan dari bandar Miri.

Lebih 80 orang peserta menyertai bengkel ini yang terdiri daripada pelajar sekolah hingga ke warga emas.Pesan Sri Paus Fransiskus melalui Laudato Si’ diterima baik oleh masyarakat kampung. Selepas bengkel itu, sekumpulan sukarelawan telah mendaftarkan nama mereka utnuk membentuk Pelayanan Keadilan Ciptaan di kampung mereka bagi melaksanakan Rangka Tindakan Pelan Tindakan yang diputuskan dalam bengkel tersebut.
