February 26, 2022 at 9:27 pm ESTST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Many who knew 16-year-old Riley Teixeira gathered for his memorial on Saturday. The 16-year-old drowned after his canoe flipped over in the St. Johns River on Feb. 20.

Multiple agencies searched for Teixiera for 17.5 hours from when he first disappeared. They found his body the following morning.See photos below:
