MELAKA: The first day of Melaka’s water rationing exercise kicked off with no major issues at densely-populated Malim here, with less anger on the ground, says a lawmaker.
Kesidang assemblyman Allex Seah Shoo Chin said he had faced brickbats and even profanity from angry residents during a similar exercise last September.
Seah said he got an earful when he had to personally distribute supplies to high-rise apartments last year.“More importantly, the water supply must reach households especially homes with elderly people, the disabled, and young children, ” he said.
