NSTsports: Melaka together with Police and Kelantan were given until Friday to settle the salary arrears or to come up with a special plan to do so.
The Super League side submitted the required documents to FAM on Friday, which was the deadline to settle outstanding wages.
If the teams failed to do so again by Feb 28, they will be docked another six points, followed by expulsion from the league if they do not settle their dues by March 30.Melaka United Soccer Association secretary-general Farhan Ibrahim hopes the FAM will accept their special payment scheme to settle all debts.
Meanwhile, Sarawak United have barred their players, coaches and officials from talking to the media.
