Kerajaan Negeri Melaka menaja caruman Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial (Perkeso) bagi seramai 260 pengayuh beca berdaftar di bawah Skim Keselamatan Sosial Pekerjaan Sendiri.

Ketua Menteri Melaka, Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh berkata, kerajaan negeri sentiasa prihatin terhadap kesejahteraan pengusaha beca yang menjadi antara nadi utama sektor pelancongan negeri. “Skim ini membolehkan pengayuh beca menerima perlindungan sosial yang meliputi faedah perubatan, hilang upaya, dan pencen ilat sekiranya mereka mengalami kemalangan atau kecederaan ketika bekerja.
