MELAKA: An assemblyman has called upon the parents of a four-year-old boy rammed by a horse-drawn carriage at Bastion House in Bandar Hilir here to lodge a police report over the incident.
Kota Laksamana assemblyman Low Chee Leong said a police report would enable the authorities to review the safety procedures at the crowded tourist site.
In the incident at about 5pm on Saturday , the child was apparently standing at the paved walkway when he was suddenly rammed by the carriage. “Therefore, a police report is important for an investigation to be initiated to enable safety measures to be introduced, ” he said.
