Beatles drummer Ringo Starr was a surprise guest at the final gig of former band-mate Paul McCartney's London tour, with the pair reuniting to play some of the Fab Four's greatest hits.
MELAKA: Melaka Deputy State Legislative Speaker Kerk Chee Yee has turned into an instant"rockstar" after impressing young entrepreneurs with two classical Chinese songs during a dinner at a restaurant in Taman Cheng Utama.
The Ayer Keroh assemblyman performed songs popularised by Cantopop star Jacky Cheung and Taiwanese rocker Wu Bai, earning thunderous applause from guests and award recipients at the event. Kota Melaka MP Khoo Poay Tiong, PUMM National President Datuk Dr Teh Tai Yong, and Melaka PUMM leaders Calvin Lim E. Ming and Chris Pang Min Quan attended the event.
