Meghan McCain, daughter of the late Senator John McCain, called President Donald Trump out on Twitter for saying he honored prisoners of war on Tuesday.
Trump has in the past been critical of war hero John McCain for being captured during his tour in Vietnam. During a campaign rally in late March, the president appeared to say that McCain had not been thankful enough for his own funeral, though he likely meant McCain's family.
