SERI KEMBANGAN: A group of media personnel is camping outside of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's private residence at the Mines Resort here following talk of a formation of a new government coalition.

Dr Mahathir, who is Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chairman, had earlier attended a closed-door meeting with the Bersatu top leadership on Sunday but left without talking to the media.

Media personnel were not allowed to enter the residential area and were told by security to wait outside. On Friday , Dr Mahathir said the Pakatan presidential council had given him the full discretion when to step down as the Prime Minister.
