MMA is happy that the issue of the supply of personal protective equipment to frontliners is being addressed by the health ministry.

In a statement, the association’s president Dr N Ganabaskaran said they also agreed with Putrajaya’s decision to allow certain sectors to resume operations under strict conditions and guidelines from the health ministry and other relevant ministries. “The MCO has been effective in bringing down the contagiousness to 1%, as mentioned by our health director-general,” he said, adding there has been some progress in flattening the curve.
