MCO: Allow small companies to operate to revive economy, says Malaysian Employers Federation

MEF executive director Datuk Shamsuddin Bardan said currently employers, who did not have a source of income and who mostly owned small businesses with fewer than five workers, were finding it tough to pay salaries to their workers. Shamsuddin also hoped that the government would not impose restrictive procedures on companies applying to operate during the MCO as it could cause bureaucratic problems and delays in business operations.
