KUALA LUMPUR: The RM320mil designated in Budget 2025 for enhancing internet connectivity is set to elevate the effectiveness of education institutions and overall quality of life , says the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission .
"With the budget announcement, RM120mil is allocated to bolster internet coverage in public higher education institutions. Regarding the RM100mil for the Fixed Line Broadband Infrastructure Connectivity Programme dedicated to rural schools, the MCMC said it will significantly improve internet access in these areas.
