Image via McDonald's Malaysia Since its introduction in 2017, this cherished tradition has grown into a much-anticipated highlight of the festive season for elderly communities across Malaysia. For many, celebrating Chinese New Year with McDonald's Malaysia has become a heartwarming annual event they eagerly look forward to.

"By embracing the values of prosperity, we celebrate the value in friendships, relationships, and shared joy," said Dato' Haji Azmir Jaafar, Managing Director and Local Operating Partner, McDonald's Malaysia. From colourful lanterns to cheerful festive greetings, the warm atmosphere created the perfect setting for celebrations and photo-worthy moments.

A standout highlight during Community Month is McDonald's Malaysia hosting birthday celebrations for orphans from more than 400 orphanages nationwide. On top of that, McDonald's Malaysia is partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities Malaysia to spread Chinese New Year cheer to underprivileged children through exciting activities and hearty meals.
