Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is “medically clear” to continue with his planned schedule after suffering a freeze-up on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Capitol physician. The Kentucky Republican froze for about 30 seconds during an event with reporters in his home state.

McConnell suffered a concussion in March. President Joe Biden on Thursday said he’d spoken with McConnell, telling reporters: “He was his old self on the telephone.” Biden said he isn’t concerned about the Republican leader’s ability to do his job.
