PETALING JAYA: The visa exemption policy for China and India has been around since Barisan Nasional’s time, says Datuk Koh Chin Han.

He said that DAP leaders should stop hogging credit for it, adding that the policy is not a Pakatan Harapan achievement

A Dec 23 Federal Government Gazette signed by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad in his capacity as the Home Minister stated that tourists from China and India will be able to visit Malaysia without needing a visa from 2020 Koh lauded the ministry’s move, as their quick response has “put a swift end to the plans of some politicians and parties to fish for undeserving political mileage.”
