MCA staying in BN to ‘safeguard’ multiracial opposition

MCA said today it is determined to safeguard the opposition’s multiracial platform despite backlash stemming from its decision to remain in Barisan Nasional . In acknowledging that this decision might not sit well with certain quarters who perceive it as being “politically incorrect” and detrimental to its popularity, MCA said it stayed on to “prevent race relations to tilt towards Malays against non-Malays”.
