PETALING JAYA: Experienced politicians in MCA should share their wisdom with the younger generation and give them the opportunities to lead the party, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president also advised potential candidates to display honourable characteristics and play fair in the upcoming party elections even though the competition might be stiff.

“I am glad to spend time with our party delegates from Perak MCA as I launched the state convention in Ipoh today. I am encouraged to see our delegates in high spirit and come out in full force to support the state convention. “I shared with the delegates that our experienced leaders must provide guidance to the younger generation while giving them the opportunities to lead,” he said in a Facebook post on Saturday .

Also present at the event were MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon, secretary-general Datuk Chong Sin Woon, vice-presidents Datuk Lim Ban Hong, Datuk Tan Teik Cheng and Datuk Seri Ti Lian Ker as well as the MCA central leadership.
