Kejohanan Golf Maybank 2024 bakal membuka tirainya pada 24 hingga 27 Oktober di Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC), Bukit Kiara dengan menawarkan hadiah lumayan bernilai AS$3 juta (RM14.34 juta).
KUALA LUMPUR: Kejohanan Golf Maybank 2024 bakal membuka tirainya pada 24 hingga 27 Oktober di Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club , Bukit Kiara dengan menawarkan hadiah lumayan bernilai AS$3 juta .
Menariknya, lima pemain ASEAN sudah mengesahkan penyertaan, termasuk dua wakil Malaysia, Liyana Durisic dan Nur Durriyah Damian. Kedua-dua pemain negara itu masing-masing mendapat tempat ketiga dan kelima dalam pusingan kelayakan LPGA yang berlangsung di Kelab Golf Kuala Lumpur baru-baru ini. Kejohanan kali ini turut menjadi tumpuan dengan kehadiran pemain nombor satu dunia, Nelly Korda dari Amerika Syarikat dan pemenang pingat emas Olimpik 2024, Lydia Ko dari New Zealand.
Presiden dan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Maybank, Datuk Khairussaleh Ramli berkata, pihaknya komited untuk memperkasakan individu di seluruh rantau ASEAN dengan menyediakan peluang melalui pusingan kelayakan LPGA.
