Maxis, Malaysia's leading telco, is launching cloud-based GPUaaS, enabling businesses to access powerful GPUs for AI training and inferencing. The service will be powered by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs and GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchips, offering scalable computing power on demand.
Maxis , Malaysia 's leading integrated telco, will offer cloud-based Graphics Processing Units-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) to Malaysia n customers. As part of its business cloud and managed services portfolio, GPUaaS provides businesses with easy access to powerful GPUs for advanced artificial intelligence (AI) training and inferencing applications.
In a statement, Maxis said that GPUaaS is a cost-effective way for customers to quickly deploy high-performance capabilities essential for intensive processing workloads such as AI, machine learning, and deep learning. GPUaaS eliminates the need for businesses to invest in costly GPU hardware or maintain complex infrastructure. It added that at launch, the service will be powered by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU clusters. Through this solution, Maxis will also be among the world’s first telcos to offer services deployed using NVIDIA’s next-generation GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchips. With scalable computing power available on-demand through GPUaaS, customers can allocate more time and resources to their core business activities and accelerate the development of Generative AI, large language models, and AI workloads. This offering caters to the growing demand among early adopters across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics.
