Mavcom fines AirAsia RM 2 million for breaking consumer protection rule

THE Malaysian Aviation Commission has imposed financial penalties on AirAsia Bhd, AirAsia X Bhd and Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd , a subsidiary of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd . In a statement today, it said the airlines had breached the consumer protection code and the airport operator failed to meet the standards on quality of service.
