Chelsea picked up a huge Premier League victory at rivals Tottenham on Monday night - with Mauricio Pochettino's new team beating Ange Postecoglou's title chasers 4-1
Mauricio Pochettino insisted Chelsea's win against Tottenham "means a lot" after his five-and-a-half-year stint in north London.
The second half was just as crazy. Destiny Udogie was sent off for a second booking, but nine-man Spurs continued to play a high line. Chelsea eventually took advantage of Tottenham's daring attitude, with Nicolas Jackson scoring a late hat-trick. Tottenham had been big favourites to win Monday night's match after making an unbeaten start to the season under new manager Ange Postecoglou. Chelsea were 13th heading into the fixture and desperately needed a win to move closer to the European spots.Tottenham remain second in the Premier League, one point behind leaders and champions Manchester City. Chelsea are up to 10th in the table, nine points behind Arsenal in fourth. Pochettino still has a lot of work to do in west London.
