Matthew Brandon is a writer/poet/mythologist/yogi living in Los Angeles. He is a current student at Pacifica Graduate Institute, pursuing an MA in Mythological Studies with an emphasis in Depth Psychology. His publications include poems in Heron Clan’s Volume V, Quillkeeper’s Press’ Mental Health Anthology, and Free Spirit as well as short stories published in Grim and Gilded Magazine and Story Unlikely.
Growing up with comics, Matthew is fascinated most with the archetypes of stories that have been with us as a species during our entire evolution, and nowhere are they more on display than in the comic world. When he’s not writing or reading, he’s teaching yoga or traveling around the world marking all the beautiful things he finds.A new writer to Screenrant's comics team, Matthew focuses on news features in the DC universe, like Batman, Green Lantern, and the Flash.
