Airwallex global accountants tracked sales and revenue for the retail and travel sectors after tickets went on sale for the World Cup to monitor spending.It found $4.53 billion of the $7.6 billion was from travellers and foreign exchange. Airwalles general manager for Australia and New Zealand Luke Latham said dollars, pounds, yen, euros, pesos and dinar are pouring into Australia's travel and retail sectors thanks to the World Cup.
