MOHAMED Nazri Aziz’s views on vernacular schools and non-Malays are his own, acting Umno president Mohamad Hasan said tonight, amid outrage over the Padang Rengas MP’s allegedly racist speech in Semenyih recently. Mohamad said Barisan Nasional remains “committed” to respecting Malaysia’s ethnic diversity and the rights of each community to practise their religion and to have access to vernacular education.
