NSTnation Maszlee resigns as Education Minister
"After meeting the Prime Minister earlier and following the advice from like a father to me, a leader and a great statesman, with a willing but a heavy heart, I, Maszlee Malik return my position as the Education Minister back to the prime minister effective Jan 3.
"I am a strong believer in our beloved premier who is very insightful in his ideas to lead this country. "I am undeniably loyal to him, to the party and the government. I believe whatever decision made and the advice to me by the premier is in the best interest of the country.Maszlee is Simpang Renggam MP and a member of the Bersatu supreme leadership council.Related stories
