Planning and transport experts are criticising the Victorian government for its mass deception over plans to cram millions of people into areas around suburban rail loop stations.
RMIT Professor Michael Buxton said the government has the desire to build up but has no information as to how they will do so with the expected population rise of nine million over the next 15 years.
“It’s subterfuge and mass deception, not telling us the rules that will get us to this population,” Mr Buxton said.
