Marysville senior Cali Leng won central Ohio's only title in the first OHSAA girls wrestling state tournament. Orange finished second as a team.
Cali Leng spent long hours ruminating on last season's runner-up finish at 120 pounds at state.
A four-time state qualifier and 116 champion as a sophomore, Leng finished 38-1 and admitted she asked if she won when the third period ended. On the strength of four fourth- or fifth-place finishers and five placers overall, Olentangy Orange finished second as a team as Harrison won its second consecutive championship.
