Where are all the other Avengers anyway?

With so many new threats on the field - and the MCU itself struggling to fit every character in - it's clear the Avengers can't deal with every single one of them, making the gaps in their presence feel less of a plot hole and more a natural consequence of the MCU having such a wide array of villains and crises.
The Multiverse Saga's New Character Roster Can Fix The Avengers Problem For Good While Scott Lang’s answer might satisfy some viewers, the ongoing Multiverse Saga presents another one that might work even better. The MCU’s roster of heroes has significantly grown, allowing for more than one hero team to exist.
