Sewald’s Strikeouts 4 Kids campaign is working with KidVantage, a local organization that “helps children have what they need to grow, play, learn and thrive.”
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON - APRIL 14: Paul Sewald #37 of the Seattle Mariners pitches during the ninth inning against the Colorado Rockies at T-Mobile Park on April 14, 2023 in Seattle, Washington. You’ll see him on the mound at T-Mobile Park frequently getting opposing batters to whiff late in the game in high-pressure situations — and now, star pitcher Paul Sewald is using that talent to make a big impact in the community he’s made his home.
“We chose KidVantage because we felt like they were the absolute best organization to help us with what is important to our family at this point, and that’s helping families and kids that are underprivileged, that don’t have the resources that we are so lucky that we have,” Sewald said. “That’s a good metaphor,” said Sewald. “We have plenty of expectations as a team, now we have expectations for Sewald’s Strikeouts 4 Kids, and I expect myself to strike out as many people as possible so we can raise as much money.”
