President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has vowed to “fix” the country’s agriculture industry as he met with members of the private stakeholders in Malacañang to discuss ways to further improve and strengthen the agriculture sector. ManilaBulletin
In a tweet, the President assured the public that the administration is working towards having a productive agriculture sector.
“Bawat aspeto, kabilang ang panlipunan, pangkapaligiran at pang-ekonomiya, ay ating isinasaayos upang makamit ang isang matibay at produktibong sektor ng agrikultura ,” he said. Marcos said he listened to the recommendations of the private sector stakeholders to transform the country’s agriculture sector.
“Pinakinggan natin ang mga rekomendasyon ng pribadong sektor para sa transpormasyon ng ating agrikultura, maging ang mga update sa Kapatid Angat Lahat for Agricultural Program na layuning itaguyod ang kabuhayan ng ating mga magsasaka, mangingisda at maliliit na negosyante ,” Marcos said.
