A meeting with United States President Joe Biden will be President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s first order of business upon his arrival in Washington next week.Foreign Affairs Secretary Ma. Teresita Daza said Marcos will begin his return to the US with a meeting with Biden on May 1.According to Daza, the President's second visit to the US is aimed at reaffirming the special relationship between the two countries.
"He will substantially progress efforts to further deepen relations and political ties to bring about lasting social economic partnerships as well as enhanced defense and security cooperation," Daza added.
