AS his surprise gift to his wife Marie Louise 'Liza' Araneta-Marcos, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
has asked the first lady to marry him a second time.In a post on his official social media accounts, the President shared the note he gave to his wife as witnessed by members of their family and friends.'Dearest Liza, make all my dreams come true. Marry me again! Happy anniversary!' it read.
'30 years later there is still no place I'd rather be and no person I'd rather be with. Liza, you will always be the girl of my dreams,' the President said.The first couple got married on April 17, 1993, in Fiesole, Italy, seven years after they first met in New York where Araneta-Marcos was working as a lawyer.Their union produced three sons — House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Sandro, Joseph Simon and William Vincent 'Vinny.
